Aguí y Ahora!



Bienvenido! Hello Friends! This is the first edition of the Moravian Latino Outreach Newsletter which we are calling Aguí y Ahora to share with you what is happening Here and Now! This is the month of firsts – our core team met in July and many people are following their passions and gifts and signing up for teams. We had our first Familia event at College Hill Moravian Church which was a picnic to engage the community. In spite of incredibly hot weather, we met many people some of whom will be forming our first small group also at College Hill. We were blessed at this event by praise teams, cooks and greeters from College Hill, Edgeboro, East Hills, West Side, First Moravian Easton, Advent & El Shaddai. Thank you!

August will bring more firsts. Our first small group, called Manna, will start Tuesday nights in August at College Hill Moravian. This will include bible study, discussions and a chance for people to get to know each other. Pastor Tracy Robinson will initially lead this group.



Prayer Requests:

-Prayers about the South Side building for us to rent which will function as the hub for this ministry housing offices, meeting space and large group worship space.

-Prayers for a temporary place to start a Manna Small Group on the South Side. (Pastor Tracy has a meeting on August 4th about this.)

-Prayers of healing for Filipe.

-Prayers for Rosa for healing and management of her diabetes.

-Prayers for a mother of three with limited resources who has three other children in her home.

-Prayers for an injured man waiting for a court judgment on compensation.

-Prayers for homeless mother and daughter with serious medical conditions.

-Prayers for this ministry to continue to connect with other ministries and people.

-Prayers for the new Dual Language School in South Bethlehem which will begin in September.

-Prayers for young people on the South Side who feel that they have no hope, many turning to drugs.

-Prayers for Manna Small Group starting at College Hill Moravian.
